TAG was founded in 1995 by Jeff Cosby, who has spent 40 years as an executive coach, consultant, and trainer. He is a master trainer who has designed and led high-impact training for over 200,000 people around the world. In collaboration with many colleagues, Jeff is recognized as the creator of the world-renowned personal transformation program, Mastery. Thousands of people from Asia, Europe, North and South America continue to participate in this powerful learning opportunity. After 40 years of success, the principles and context of Mastery continue to be at the core of everything we do.

All our coaching and programs are results-based, meaning that the learning that takes place shows up in real and tangible ways in life. Our commitment is to provide individuals with unique and innovative tools and resources they can use daily to create a more productive and sustainable environment personally and professionally. OUR COACHES—COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE

All of our coaches have earned the distinction of Certified Professional Mastery Coach (CPMC) from TAG. Our coaches have completed over 250 hours of training in the areas of personal effectiveness and leadership development and are committed to their continued growth personally and professionally. In addition, they have completed a minimum of 125 classroom hours of coach training and a minimum of 100 coaching hours. We believe, and we’ve been told, our coaches have far exceeded our client’s expectations.

Many of our coaches have continued to develop as professionals by achieving accreditation from the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF is the recognized leader in setting the standards for core competencies and ethics in the coaching profession. Our programs are aligned with the ICF and we support their commitment to coaches and the coach training industry.

Our work is characterized by focusing on our unique power. Other species on the planet, to varying degrees, are compelled to live in a world of fate while we have the choice of living in a world of possibility. We have the innate ability to choose and create conditions that can alter the forces that act upon us.

We have the ability – moment to moment – to exercise our intention upon the physical and social world and thereby take responsibility for our lives and our future. We have the ability to choose our thoughts, feelings, and perspectives that determine our day-to-day state of being, whether it’s taking on the world or just getting through the day. It is this ability to create and to choose that allows us to live in a world of possibilities.

We believe that latent in every person is enormous untapped resourcefulness and this resourcefulness is released primarily by recognizing that it is there. Our work is designed to enable individuals, groups, and organizations to tap into this powerful resource, in order to become more creative and effective in achieving their goals.

To understand what we do and the difference it can make, it is valuable to understand the beliefs that drive every aspect of the work we do.

  1. We believe that there is no organization apart from the people that work there. Any organizational issue is an issue of the people who make up the organization – a product of how they think and behave, and the systems and structures they create. Organizational breakthrough is possible when individuals experience a personal breakthrough in their understanding of what is important and what is possible.
  2. Our work is designed to assist individuals and groups in making profound and fundamental shifts in their way of thinking and interacting. Our coaching and training are intended to create breakthroughs, not just incremental change.
  3. We believe that context is the primary key to unlocking resources and creating results. For the organization, the most critical contexts are purpose, vision, and values. At the individual level, other contexts determine the quality of involvement that each person has with the organization. These include perspective, world view, and mindset in addition to personal purpose, vision, and values.
  4. We assist individuals within the organization to discover a personally meaningful context that grows out of purpose, vision, and values, which enables everyone to work effectively. We have found that meaningfulness provides motivation, internal reward, and satisfaction. It also forms the basis for healthy, productive relationships and provides a context for resolving differences and working together. Our work is intended to help people move into or create a personal context that ultimately is the platform for producing the greatest possible results both personally and professionally.
  5. We understand that a person’s state of being is a primary ingredient in their effectiveness and quality of life. We do everything possible to assist people in learning to manage their internal state and to become less reactive, more creative, and more responsive in their day-to-day work.
  6. Our point of view is that certain attitudes and skills are fundamental to a person’s effectiveness on the job and in every area of life. These include commitment, partnership, self-expression, honesty, responsibility, self-knowledge (knowing who you are and what you want), leadership, and the ability to take risks. We work to help move people to greater levels of satisfaction and effectiveness and mastering these elements of personal effectiveness.
  7. Every individual and organization needs and wants people who:
    • Take responsibility for their own area, the results they create, and the quality of the entire organization
    • Communicate simply, directly, clearly, and effectively
